uane Perryman is a Training Consultant with 7 years experience as a facilitator within both Trinidad and Tobago and the United States of America. He has conducted many training programs, as well as developed several programs in the area of Customer Service, Personal Development, Preparing Leaders for Excellence and Organisational Socialisation / Induction.
From 1998 to 2005 Duane was employed with Disney Cruise Line. During his tenure at Disney Cruise Line, in his capacity as Service Excellence Training Officer, Duane:
- Operated as the onboard Training and Development Manager
- Facilitated staff orientation and Service Excellence training.
- Implemented the "Service Excellence Training Plan Project" streamlining all regulatory Safety, Human Resource, On-The-Job training.
- Served as the in-house expert on Service excellence for departmental heads.
He then served as a Manager of 6 Front Line Service Staff Teams, comprising 53 members. While under his direct control, 4 of his teams attained benchmarks on Guest Service Ratings, while all met or exceeded their individual Guest Service Measurement Projections.
Additionally, Duane has tutored at the University of the West Indies in Management and Organisational Behaviour at the Undergraduate Level and was exposed to Post-graduate level Research Methodology and PhD-Level Statistics as an assistant researcher to Dr. Helena Addae (Associate Professor, University of Whitewater, Wisconsin) on cultural perspectives affecting Turnover.
Duane joined PMSL in 2006 and specialises in the areas of Teamwork, Leadership and Supervisory Management, Customer Service Excellence and Recruitment for the Hospitality Industry locally, regionally and internationally.
Duane is a regular volunteer for the Give Kids the World Foundation, which operates in the Central Florida Region, providing magical experiences for "Wish Kids", and currently sits on the Board of the T&T Coalition Against Domestic Violence.
