Executive Coaching

Executive coaching is now considered a key enabler for leadership development among successful companies. In fact, 93% of US based global 1000 organisations and 65% of the 1,000 of the largest international companies find value in Executive Coaching .

PMSL’s range of services includes Executive Coaching and our coaches are trained by the College of Executive Coaching.

What is Executive Coaching?

Executive Coaching is best described as an ongoing relationship focussed on the client taking action toward the realisation of their goals. It uses a process of inquiry and personal discovery to build the client’s self-awareness, encourages responsibility and provides the client with structure, support and feedback necessary to move forward.

Various studies have shown that Executive Coaching provides numerous tangible and intangible benefits, which through the executive’s increased awareness, emotional intelligence, goal-attainment and increased competencies produce results throughout the organisation.

How does PMSL Coach?

PMSL’s approved system of coaching starts with gaining an understanding of the objectives of the coaching exercise as well as the values and competencies supported by the organisation.

We will then design a customised coaching programme based on the PMSL coaching model incorporating your organisation’s goals and values and we will help you determine the best approach for your Performance Management and Coaching needs.

At the individual level coaching will result in the construction of personalised development plans related to performance improvement and career development. These plans will also be based on the results of a Psychometric Test conducted by PMSL.

This creates the focus and alignment and a shared model for leading the business by integrating strategic objective with personal goals. Through coaching, valued competencies which have been identified will have a vehicle through which they are managed in the organisation.

How long will it take?

The average Coaching engagement is from 3-6months. Sessions can be done weekly or once every two weeks. Sessions are 45 minutes to 1 hour and can be done either in person or via telephone.
