Effective Communication Skills
Company objectives are the basis for training in the development of verbal and non-verbal communication skills essential to effective performance in any organization.
Objective of Programme:
To impart understanding of how to improve the communication skills of participants and communication systems in the organization.
Duration:
Two days. This can be expanded to a five-day program with practice and feedback on the actual development of communication skills
Target Group:
Suitable for team leaders, persons in positions of supervisory management in relation to staff, employees who interact with members of the public, professionals.
Expected outcome: Participants will be able to:
- Understand the process of communication
- Analyse and evaluate the communication systems they use in their own organizations
- Spot the gender differences in communication and how to interpret them
- Gain knowledge of effective means of written and verbal communication
- Understand and identify non-verbal communication
- Practice how to deal with criticism without taking offence
