Assertiveness Skills

This programme teaches people the distinction between submission, assertion and aggression and the social and business applications and consequences of   the three.

Objective of Programme:

To help people who come across as aggressive or submissive to recognize the verbal and non-verbal signals of these behaviours and so to be able to adapt their own behaviour   as appropriate.

Duration: Two days

Target Group:

People who have to deal with difficult customers, and those who find that their behaviour style has caused them difficulty in interpersonal interactions

Expected outcome: Participants will be able to:-

  • Identify their verbal and non-verbal signals
  • Understand the advantages and disadvantages of different behaviour styles
  • Deal with difficult peers, customers, relatives and people at work
