Professional Telephone techniques

This program explores the theory and practical experience of general principles of communication as applied specifically to the use of the telephone in business.

Objective of Programme:

To enable   people to represent their organization professionally and courteously when using the phone as a medium of expression.

Duration: Two days

Target Group:

All new employees should take this course as well as those newly placed in positions where they represent the company’s image by communicating with   the public over the phone. It is particularly important for those who may have to speak   to people from other countries and cultures

Expected outcome: Participants will be able to:

  • Analyse   difficulties that people experience  in getting anf receiving telephone calls
  • Understand how to use the phone as a public relations vehicle
  • Represent their organization over the phone in a courteous and professional manner
  • Take accurate   and clear messages.
  • Deal with interruptions
