Preparing for the Implementation of the Occupational Safety and Health Act
An overview of the Occupational Safety and Health Act which is being proclaimed Section by Section, examining Staff Health and Safety procedures and policies that will need to be established in all organizations.
Objective of Programme:
To familiarize employers with the provisions of the Act so as to enable them to prepare for its implementation.
Duration: One half-day
Target Group: All employers
Expected outcome: Participants will be able to:-
- Know the provisions of the Act that apply to their organizations
- Learn how to implement the testing for substance abuse provisions
- Avoid breaches of the regulatory and licensing provisions
