Handling Diversity
An examination of the industrial relations implications of diversity in the workplace and how to manage the issues of diversity when they arise.
Objective of Programme:
To define and identify diversity in our own cultural context placing it in a context of equity and fairness to all employees.
Duration: Four half days
Target Group:
Expected outcome: Participants will be able to:-
- Define diversity within their own cultural context
- Discover how stereotypes and prejudices are formed
- Make a self-assessment of their own prejudices
- Manage diversity issues in the workplace before they give rise to conflict
