artin Scott worked in the Human
Resource Management function at the West Indian Tobacco
Company Limited, part of the British American Tobacco Group,
for 20 years, including a spell at the Group's Management
Training and Development Center in the UK, and consultancy
assignments to associated companies in the Caribbean, serving
also on the Board of Directors of WITCO.
Since becoming a founding Partner of PMSL
in 1980, Martin's consultancy assignments have been concentrated
in the areas of Industrial Relations, Organisation Restructuring,
Executive Recruitment and Compensation and Benefits Administration.
He has dealt with a wide portfolio of clients,
including multinational companies, in a range of sectors
covering Energy, Manufacturing, Finance and Trading. Martin
has been Chairman of the Council of the Employers' Consultative
Association, a member of the Registration, Recognition and
Certification Board, a member of the Management Committee
of the Trinidad & Tobago Manufacturers' Association
and a member of the Industrial Relations Committee of the
Trinidad & Tobago Chamber of Industry and Commerce.
