For over 23 years, PMSL has been at the forefront of Human Resource Development and Management in Trinidad and Tobago. The firm began its operations in 1980,during one of the country's periods of economic expansion, enhancing the capability of the Business Sector to respond to the challenges of the changing environment. In the present renewed cycle of development, the Company retains its proactive leadership in people development consultancy.

Today, steadfast in its mission "...to contribute to organisational effectiveness through the highest standards of Human Resource Management", the firm remains committed to its client base - spanning small family businesses to energy sector multi-national corporations - to meet their need for a workforce, equipped to adapt to the fast-paced changes and challenges of the new business arena, on both the local and global levels.


In doing so, the Company has continued to modernise and expand

the range of services it offers - from testing instruments available in the processes of selection and team building, to on-line training - as well as the development and expansion of creative strategies for the retention of key staff. Other key elements of service provision are in the areas of Cultural Orientation Seminars for Expatriate staff, guidance on employment and labour issues and hands-on support in problem-solving and conflict resolution.


The Company has also developed a programme for setting up Diversity Policies and Procedures and for Staff Seminars/Workshops in this area.

PMSL also prides itself on bringing to Human Resource and Industrial Relations issues, a deep understanding of business imperatives and substantial accumulated experience of the people issues surrounding transformation and change, including those arising from mergers and acquisitions.
