Psychometric Testing

There are many different kinds of Psychometric Testing available, some more effective than others. PMSL has chosen the Five Factor Model, on which most other tests are based, because it was developed specifically for use in business organizations. It is used in the USA by companies as diverse as AT&T and Disneyland and in Trinidad & Tobago by companies such as Lever Brothers, National Flour Mills (manufacturing), Venture Credit Union, Guardian Holdings Ltd and ScotiaBank (finance).
The Five Factor Model is useful in building and developing coherent teams. This saves time and money in selecting the right people for particular jobs and in working in a team-based environment. This test is also used for career development where the information provided about an individual’s personality is used to identify careers which are compatible with their personality, leading to personal satisfaction with job and life.

Five Factor Model

The WorkPlace Big Five Profile™ 4.0 personality assessment is based on the Five-Factor Model of Personality. Busy professionals can easily complete the 107 questions on-line in about 10-15 minutes. WorkPlace reports use graphs and neutral, work-centric language that provide a clear picture to participants and is used to help managers determine which of short listed candidates for key positions best matches the kind of person the company needs. Senior executives must be focused, impervious to distractions, stress-resistant and feet-on-the-ground with close attention to details.
Some must be visionary, flexible, multitasking and fast paced. These qualities would not be found in the same person. The Five Factor helps you to determine and select the right person, to make sure terms are well balanced-neither all visionary nor all detail oriented. Given the nature and function of terms, the question is: “Who will make the best leader for that team at this time based on advanced technology and continually updated research?"
